Know hows for ACT test preparation

The ACT comprises of 4 trademark MCQ subject tests covering English, Maths, Reading, and Science. Questions are well framed to examine entire educational development and their ability to finish college-level work. Total time allotted is around 2 hours and 55 minutes for the test which does not include the breaks.

Considering only the correct responses and not the incorrect responses, subject test scores (from 1 to 36) are found out. All the 4 areas (English, Maths, Reading, and Science) are then averaged together to come up with the overall score.

The ACT also includes an optional 30-minute writing test which is aimed to measure the student's skill in planning and writing a short essay. This section definitely enables you to highlight your writing skills. The additional scores will be reported for this section with the remarks regarding your essay. Despite these scores are reported separately.
