AIIMS MBBS Entrance Exam Pattern 2012

The Competitive Entrance Examination will be of 3½ hours time duration and will comprise of one paper which consist of 200 objective type i.e.. Multiple choice and reason assertion type questions from the branches of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge. The categorization of the questions is stated below:

If the answer you have chosen is wrong then there will be negative marking for that. Every correct answer will fetch 1 mark and every incorrect answer will get a score of-⅓ i.e.. Minus one third. However, No marks will be alloted for the questions which are left unanswered by the students. Around More than one answer will be considered as wrong answer and negatively marked. The basic standard requirement of the Competitive Entrance Examination will be 12th class under the 10 + 2 Scheme or Intermediate Science. Particularly, No syllabus has been mentioned by the Institute for the examination.

Language of Question Paper

Question paper will be provided either in English or in Hindi according to the choice of candidates. A candidate must select in the space provided in the application form whether he or she prefers to have the question paper in English or Hindi. This choice cannot be changed later at any stage.
