IBPS Bank Clerical Exam pattern

It is an examination with duration of 2.5 hours, which consists of 250 questions. Different topic areas of the question paper is stated below-

Negative Marking

Penalty of negative marking is there in case of wrong answers if any marked in the Objective Tests. If a wrong answer has been given by the candidate for a question, one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.

Validity of Score Card

The Score Cards will be issued by IBPS, which will remain valid for one year from the date of issue of the Score Card. Candidates appearing in the subsequent examinations to increase their scores if they want to:

Cut off

The candidates will have to score a minimum pre-decided marks in every tests, in order to qualify the written examination and to be considered for vacancies in the IBPS recognised banks.

The cut-off points will be based on the average (Average-¼ Standard Deviation for General category candidates and Average-¾ Standard Deviation for Reserved Category candidates).
