IBPS Bank PO RRBs Exam pattern

Question paper for each post will include 5 sections, question paper will be of 2.5 hours of time duration. Only in case of specialist cadre the time duration of exam is of 3 hours.

However choice language sections in question papers can vary. The Question papers are grouped into two groups namely-

List of states falling in Category A, B and C

Region

States or Union Territories falling in the Region-

Region A

Bihar, Chhatisgarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand States and Andaman& Nicobar Islands, National Capital Territory of Delhi Union Territories.

Region B

Gujarat, Maharashtra and Punjab States and Chandigarh Union Territory.

Region C

All other States and Union Territories not included in the A and B Regions.

Negative marking

Penalty will be there for wrong the answers marked in the Objective Test. For each question if a wrong answer has been marked by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks will be deducted as penalty to came at total corrected score.

For any question, if a candidate has marked more than one answer, it will be consider as wrong even when if one of the given answers is right and same penalty of 0.25 marks will be there, it will be deducted as penalty.

Validity of Score Card

Score Cards issued by IBPS will be valid for 1 year from the date it had been issued of the Score Card and will be considered for recruitment exercises during that period.
