CBSE NET JRF Exam to be held on 28th December 2014 [ CBSE NET-JRF Updates ]

Starting December 2014, NET JRF exam will be conducted by CBSE instead of UGC. By doing so, CBSE will become the largest examination conducting body in India. The exam date for CBSE NET has been announced for 28th December 2014. The online registration for the examination will open on 15th October 2014. The last date to apply for this examination is 15th November 2014. The examination will be conducted in 79 subjects at 87 selected NET Coordinating Institutions spread across India. The details will be available at CBSE NET Official Notification 2014.

CBSE has explained that the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and eligibility for Assistant Professor or both will depend on the performance of the candidate in all three papers of NET. However, the candidates qualifying exclusively for Assistant Professor (only NET) will not be considered for award of JRF.

    For June 2015, six months are more than enough. You can start your preparation based on syllabus and past papers. You can appear for both CSIR and UGC NET in Electronic Science.
