About CMAT

All India council for Technical Education (AICTE) organises the Common Management Admissions Test also known as ‘CMAT’ 2012, Which acts as an entrance examination for availing admission into 4, 000 colleges which are providing MBA degree and 500 colleges which are providing postgraduate diploma in management programs.

Institutes accepting CMAT

4000 + B-Schools are accredited by AICTE to accept the CMAT scores.

Number of seats available through CMAT

Around 1.6 lac seats will be available all over the country through CMAT.

CMAT Test Eligibility

Candidates who are graduates with minimum 50% in any discipline. Candidates pursuing final year of Graduation Courses can also however apply for CMAT.

Students Appearing

Expected No. Of Students appearing in CMAT: The CMAT 2012 is expected to be administered about 2, 50, 000 candidates across India and abroad.

CMAT 2012 will be organised in 23 Indian comprising i.e.. States and Union Territories, The following 61 cities are stated below:
