    Previously engineering sciences was not an option in CSIR NET, but since now you have engineering sciences as an option, we suggest that you apply for CSIR NET in engineering sciences and not physical sciences.

    You can appear in CSIR Engineering Sciences category-eligibility criteria (educational qualification) for writing the test will be BE, B.Tech or equivalent in engineering with at least 55% marks for general/OBC and 50% marks for SC/ST, Physically and visually handicapped candidates. Students in the 4th year of the BTech programme will also be eligible to apply.
