12th ASEAN-India Summit 2014-Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar

12th ASEAN-India Summit was held on 12 November 2014 in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar. President of Myanmar was attended this summit. Narendra Modi, prime minister of India and all Government of ASEAN member states.

This summit time, ASEAN countries and India repeat their commitment to reach its target of 100 billion US$by 2015.67. 9 billion Us$reached in India in 2013.

Leaders appreciated the signing of two agreements and this agreement on trade In services and investment of that agreement on Economic cooperation. ASEAN leaders bring out importance of India's cooperation and implementing the ASEAN agreement on Disaster management and emergency response.

ASEAN leaders India's continued support for the implementation of the roadmap for ASEAN community. We expressed satisfaction with the implementation of ASEAN-India plan of Action to implement ASEAN-India partnership for peace and progress. Next ASEAN-India Summit will be held in 2015 at Cambodia.

In 1992, India became a sectorial dialogue partner of ASEAN and that was upgraded to full dialogue partnership in 1996.

India had annual Summits with ASEAN. India would host the ASEAN-India summit on theme ASEAN-India partnership for peace and shared prosperity.
