Pavel Srnicek former Newcastle United goalkeeper passed away on 29 December 2015 at Ostrava, Czech Republic at the age of 47. After suffering cardiac arrest for the nine days Srnicek passed away. About Pavel Srnicek

  • From 1990 to 2007, Srnicek played as a goalkeeper mainly for Newcastle United.
  • Sheffield Wednesday, Portsmouth and West Ham United have been represented by him in England.
  • For Banik Ostrava, He also played in Italy for Brescia and Cosenza, in Portugal for Beira-Mar, and in Czech Republic.
  • From 1994 to 2001 he played internationally for the Czech Republic and has earned a total of 49 caps.
  • He was part of Czech Republic’s squad that came runners-up at UEFA Euro 96.
