Union Ministry of Corporate Affairs released data of top ten Corporate of 2014. Union Ministry of Corporate Affairs has compared of eight public sector undertakings and two private sector undertakings. Ranking of top Ten Corporate of 2014-

  1. Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) – it is the largest corporate with assets worth 3.68 lakh crore rupees.
  2. Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) – it is the second largest corporate with assets worth 2.52 lakh crore rupees.
  3. Mortgage lender Housing Development Finance Corp (HDFC) - it is the third largest with assets worth 2.25 lakh crore rupees.

Other corporates in the top ten after RIL, IOC and HDFC are -

  1. Power Finance Corporation - it is the fourth position with assets stood at 1.94 lakh crore rupees.
  2. National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) - it is the fifth position with assets stood at 1.80 lakh crore rupees.
  3. Rural Electrification Corporation (devil)- it is the sixth position with assets stood at 1.53 lakh crore rupees.
  4. Power Grid Corporation- it is the seventh position with assets stood at 1.40 lakh crore rupees.
  5. LIC Housing Finance (music)- it is the eight position with assets stood at 95777 crore rupees.
  6. Steel Authority of India Limited -it is the ninth position with assets stood at 91962 crore rupees.
  7. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited- it is the tenth position with assets stood at 89333 crore rupees.
