About Mark Anthony Selby
He was born on 19th June 1983 at Leicester, English.
He is the ruling World Snooker Champion and is the current World No. 1.
In 1999 at the age of 16, Selby had joined the main professional snooker tour, and played the UK Challenge Tour in 1998.
He was runner-up to John Higgins at the World Snooker Championship in 2007.
He became the ninth player to win all of snooker՚s Triple Crown events at least once after winning three Masters Titles in 2008,2010, and 2013, the UK Championship in 2012, and the World Championship in 2014.

About World Snooker Championship
The World Snooker Championship is the chief snooker tournament both in terms of respect and prize money.
In 1927 the first championship was held and which was won by Joe Davis.
The first 15 championships were won by Davis before retiring from the event, undefeated, after his 1946 success.
It has been played at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, England from 1977.
And currently the tournament is played over 17 days and ends on the first Monday in May.
Since 1969 in the modern era the best record is that of Stephen Hendry, who won the title seven times.
