2016 World Championship Title of Snooker Has Been Won by Mark Selby

The 2016 World Championship title of Snooker has been won by the World՚s no. one snooker player Mark Selby by beating China՚s Ding Junhui with 18 - 14 score at finals played in Sheffield. With this Selby has won second title of the year 2016 after winning minor Gdynia Open event held in Poland.

  • He was born on 19th June 1983 at Leicester, English.
  • He is the ruling World Snooker Champion and is the current World No. 1.
  • In 1999 at the age of 16, Selby had joined the main professional snooker tour, and played the UK Challenge Tour in 1998.
  • He was runner-up to John Higgins at the World Snooker Championship in 2007.
  • He became the ninth player to win all of snooker՚s Triple Crown events at least once after winning three Masters Titles in 2008,2010, and 2013, the UK Championship in 2012, and the World Championship in 2014.
