  5. Shri X had invest ₹ 10,000 as fixed deposit for three years. With choice of investment in two companies namely ABC and PQR both of equal repute and standing. Both of them had declared dividends of 12 to 15% during the last three years. PQR offers 15% p. a. Simpel interest and ABC 13.5% p. a compound interest. In which company would you advise Shri X to invest, assuming than income tax and other personal considerations do not affect the investment decision? Show how your suggestion gives Shri X greater advantage on the whole. 10
