Olympiad Stage 1 exam to be held on 23rd Nov 2014 and Stage 2 on 31 Jan and 1st Feb 2015 [ Olympiad Updates ]


Examrace wishes good luck to all the students appearing for Stage 1 exam called as National Standard Examinations (NSE) in physics, chemistry, biology, astronomy and junior science: NSEP, NSEC, NSEB, NSEA and NSEJS respectively on 23rd Nov 2014. Those students who are able to clear this examination will appear for Stage II Indian National Olympiad Examinations organized by HBCSE. These examinations are held at about 15 centres in the country. The dates and schedule of these examinations will be communicated in the first week of January to the eligible students selected from Stage I examinations. They will also be announced on the website: Official Website for Olympiad. Since HBCSE is the nodal centre for hosting IPhO 2015, the Second stage (INPhO) examination and the third stage (OCSC -Physics) will be organized by IAPT- APhO Cell in Delhi.

India will be hosting the International Physics Olympiad for the Year 2015. The 46th IPhO will be held at Mumbai, India from 5 to 12 July 2015 and will be organised by the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education, a national centre of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai, an autonomous institution under the umbrella of the Department of Atomic Energy, as well as a Deemed University. It is supported by the Government of India through its Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Department of Science and Technology (DST) and the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD).
