What is the entry level requirement for PLAB?
Before applying for the PLAB examination, you must fulfill the following criterions:
- A well accredited medical qualification.
- If you are outside the European Economic Area, you must pass the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) test and have 12 month clinical experience at a postgraduate (PG) level from a hospital approved by the medical registration authority in your home or native country.
- You may also apply for the PLAB exam without this 12 month experience but you have to take Foundation Years Training in the UK to compensate the same.
