National Institute of Technology, Warangal

The National Institute of Technology Warangal (NITW) was the pioneer of engineering colleges in India and lead the pathway for the other colleges to follow. Established in 1959, it acts similar to all other national institutes when it comes to the transformation phase. It was set up as the Regional Engineering College, Warangal, later getting its new name and status.

NITW emphasizes that soft skills and being a compassionate human being are as important as excelling in academics. Both without each other form an incomplete human being. Hence it trains its students to excel in both areas to strive in the cut-throat competition era.
