The ancient ‘Gurukul’ system of teaching is followed in the Vidyapeetha and serious and dedicated efforts are made to revive the Vedic language of Sanskrit. The increase in the number of students in this institution bears testimony to this. The most encouraging aspect is that even Muslim and SC/ST students are enrolling in this seat of learning to learn Sanskrit which is considered to be language for the upper classes in our society.
