  • It is the latex of ‘Hevea brasiliensis’ tree.
  • Other latex plantsbalata, funtunia elastica and gutta pecha.
  • Rubber tends to become sticky in hot and brittle in cold weather; therefore it is vulcanized (i.e.. mixed with sulphur)
