The Indian government established the Indian institute of Management Calcutta also known as IIM-C in the year 1961. It is the oldest of all the six Indian Institutes of Management in India. Admission to IIM C
For getting admission into the post Graduate Program in Computer aided Management (PGDCM) will be on the basis of performance of the candidates in the Common Admission Test, Performance in Aptitude test in Mathematics (ATM), Performance in group discussion and personal interview, desired work experience and past scholastic achievement. Regarding the admission to this course at IIM-C Candidates must possess a bachelor degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45 % for SC/ST or persons with disability candidates). The admission procedure begins in the month of November.
The admission procedure of the PGDM program at IIM-C is similar with PGDCM. It must be noted that, the eligibility criteria of the overall postgraduate program is same. For getting admission into the fellow program candidates need to score 55% marks in their masters degree and 50% in their bachelor degree level. Candidates who are from the engineering background need to score aleast 60% marks in the respective bachelor degree exam.
