    You can appear for CSIR NET in Mathematical Sciences. For UGC (CBSE) NET, candidates with Master's Degree in Geography (with specialization in Population Studies) or Mathematics or Statistics are also eligible to appear in the subject 'Population Studies' (Code 15).
