With the importance of UGC NET exam growing day by day, the competition for the UGC exam has increased drastically. It is very important at this point of time that you have the following tips in mind before the exam:
Dont ignore paper 1, if you have done paper 1 nicely you might get through despite performing ok in paper 2 and 3.
For paper 1, political science in form of current affairs i.e., elections and newly formed government at center constitutes the important questions
Be prepared to get full on full in reading comprehension and data interpretation questions: this will give you an edge for 10 questions
Use reliable and authentic material for preparation, if not just refer questions and not answers from the material.
Most of the guides available in market have lots of incorrect answers, so what is important is knowing before solving.
Paper 2 is usually more direct and simple
Contrary to it, paper 3 is more applicative and conceptual these days. Therefore, it is very important that one has complete knowledge of one's subject as per the master's syllabus
Prepare according to the syllabus and practice as many multiple choice questions as possible
Have a sound sleep before examination
