CBSE Board Exam 2019: Class 12th Hindi Core and Elective Assessment Plan Revised (Download PDF)

CBSE has published official circular regarding changed in marking & assessment for Hindi Elective Subject for CBSE Class 12 Board Examinations 2019. According to circular shared on website, board has informed that instead of external assessment of project work of 10 marks, schools would now be marking same internally.

  • CBSE is planning to declare Class 10th & 12th board examination date sheet 2019 soon at official website.
  • Board released practical examination date sheet 2019 for class 12th. According to schedule, practical exam for class 12 will begin from 16th Jan. & will continue till 15th Feb. , 2019.
  • CBSE is apex board that looks after development & propagation of secondary & higher secondary education in India.
  • Board is part of long history that is development of school-level education in India.
  • CBSE took final shape that it operates in year 1952.
  • Currently, CBSE conducts annual examinations like CBSE 10th & 12th Board Exam along with entrance tests for professional courses like JEE Mains & CBSE NET Exam.
  • Schools would be conducting ASL for Hindi Elective & Core which would be for 10 marks.
  • In circular sent to schools along with practical examination schedule for CBSE 12th Board Examinations 2019, board has notified heads of all schools of its decision to henceforth conduct Assessment of Speaking & Listening (ASL) for Hindi Elective & Core subjects.
  • ASL would be worth 10 marks & would be internally assessed & marked. New paper pattern or assessment of Hindi Elective & Core is as below.

Here are some of imp. pointers that are mentioned in CBSE Board Exam 2018 circular:

  • ASL worth 10 marks would be conducted by schools for Hindi Elective & Hindi Core subjects.
  • Project Work (Earlier included as well) would be assessed internally by school. No external examiner would be assigned for same
  • Schools would be required to upload marks scored (out of total 20) on online portal available for uploading internal marks as per schedule.
  • This, in turn, revises the total marks to 80 for external or theory examination for both subjects.
  • Candidate must note that they are required to pass in both internal assessments of ASL & Project as well as theory paper separately. Passing marks required is 33 percent in ASL + 33 % in project work + 33 % in theory examination which would be conducted in March or April 2019.
