Combined Defence Services (CDS) II Exam 2016 Said to Be Easy [ CDS Updates ]

UPSC conducts the Combined Defence Services Exam every year for recruiting officers for the Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy and Officers Training Academy.The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducted CDS II 2016 on 23rd October 2016, Sunday in 41 centers across the country. Around 2.25 lakh candidates attended this exam and found GK paper to be a little bit tricky.

Otherwise, candidates found paper to be easy and compared it to Civil Service prelims exam this year. We expect the cutoff to be high.

Note: There was negative marking for wrong answers in the objective type questions.

Total numbers of available vacancies are 413 in Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, Officers’ Training Academy (OTA), Chennai (Men and Women), Air Force Academy, Hyderabad, and Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala.

UPSC may declare the results on January 2017.

Note: CDS (I) 2017 will be conducted on 5th February 2017 and CDS (II) 2017 will be held on 19th November 2016.

The Registration for CDS (I) 2017 will starts from 9th November 2016 and last date for registration is 2nd December 2016.
