Definition of disability for the purpose of admission shall be in accordance with Persons with Disabilities (Equal Opportunities, Protection of Rights and Full Participation) Act, 1995. Disability in the act is defined to comprise: Blindness, low vision, leprosy cured, hearing impairment, loco-motor disability, mental disability or illness. A candidate will have to produce disability certificate from competent authority in accordance with the provisions of the Act at the time of admission.

Various Universities e. g. CNLU, Patna will admit the NRI candidates directly whereas others will do so through CLAT. Please read the information given by the participating Universities on the subject in the CLAT Information Brochure or on the CLAT Website.

In any event of insufficient number of candidates appearing from a specific centre, the Convener CLAT-2012 reserves the right to cancel the centre and transfer the applicants to another closest centre.

Foreign nationals are not allowed to give CLAT-2012. The students who are keenly interested in taking admission to any course in any of the participating Law Universities may directly contact the respective University having seats for foreign nationals.

Any candidate who needs a scribe to write the test should mention in writing to the Convener, CLAT-2012 at the time of submitting their application form and in any case not less than two months before to the CLAT-2012 entrance examination, stating reasonable cause and desired supporting documents must be carefully attached.

The admission process shall be centralised for CLAT-2012 based on the merit-cum-preference. All the admission of candidates shall be centrally organised at the National Law University, Jodhpur. Further details regarding the date of admission shall be placed on CLAT website.

Under-Graduate Programme Provided by the National Law Universities

Five year integrated BA or BSc or BBA or BSW or BCom or LLB (Hons.) Degree Courses.

BSc: Provided by NUJS, NLU Jodhpur and GNLU.

BBA: Provided by GNLU, NLU Jodhpur and NLUO.

BSW or BCom: Provided by GNLU.

Post-Graduate Programme Provided by the National Law Universities

Two Year LLM Degree Course.

Crucial Note: CNLU, Patna and NUSRL, Ranchi do NOT provid this course.

NLUO provids Conjoint LLM-PhD Program.
