Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) to be Held on 8th May 2016
The CLAT is an all India entrance examination that conducted on rotation by 16 NLU (National Law Universities) for admission to their UG and PG programs. CLAT-2016 will be conducted by Chanakya National Law University.

CLAT 2016 Eligibility Criteria:
For Undergraduate Programs (UG) :
- Must have completed higher secondary or equivalent from a recognized university and secured minimum 45% of marks (40% for SC⟋ST) .
For Postgraduate Programs (PG) :
- Candidates should have an LLB or five year integrated LLB degree from a recognized university and scored minimum 55% of marks (50% for SC⟋ST applicants) .
Age Limitation:
For Undergraduate Programs (UG) :
- The applicant should have aged below 20 years as on 1st July 2016 22 years for SC⟋ST⟋Disable as prescribed by the respective statutes of the participating universities.
For Postgraduate Programs (PG) :
- There is no age limitation for PG programs.
How to Apply for CLAT 2016:

- Step 2: fill personal, academics and other details a mentioned in the form.
- Step 3: upload recent passport size photograph (3.5 cms x 4.5 cms) and signature of JPG format within 100kb.
- Step 4: make the payment online through Debit⟋Credit Card.
Application Fees for CLAT:
- For General⟋OBC⟋PWD category is ₹ 4,000⟋-.
- For SC⟋ST category is ₹ 3,500⟋-.
Examination Pattern:
For UG Courses:
- The exam will be of 2 hours.
- Test consists of 200 MCQ type questions and each question will be of 1 mark.
- 0.25 marks penalties on each wrong answer.
