How to Write Answers in CBSE (UGC) NET/CSIR NET-JRF Examination?

  1. In the NET Examination, writing skills matter alot. Many candidates who are giving the NET examination have good knowledge, but possess bad writing skills. You should be able to present all the information or knowledge in a coherent and logical manner, as expected by the evaluator Like Quoting the facts and substantiating your answer with desired concepts and focusing your point of view.
  2. For the NET examination, preparations must be done more critically.
  3. After going through well with the questions, you must sort out the NET question papers as per the syllabus topics. If one judges the questions, after sometime the questions will repeat in one form or the other.
  4. Write standard answers to the question papers related to the previous years, It will make your work much more easier at the UGC examination.
  5. Do Not miss any concept even though it is small. Questions asked in the examination are of the Masters level. Sometimes questions are very ‘conceptual’ in nature, which aim at testing the comprehension levels of the general concepts.

  20. Frequent revision of all subjects is very desirable, as you have been preparing for months or years together and It is the human tendency to forget after sometime hence revision is very required.
  21. If you fail to revise before the examination, Do not bother. Write it in a simple manner, it will simplify the evaluator՚s task and he can read the answers much more clearly.
  22. Try to put focus and Highlight the crucial points in your answers.
  23. Paragraph writing is always better than the essay form. A new point must start with a new paragraph.
  24. Write in bullet form, if the question needs answer in the points format.
  25. Maintain a reliable space or gap in between two lines.
  26. Your handwriting must be similar throughout the paper.
  27. Because of time constraint, the answers that you have written should not go from bad to worse in the further stages in the answer sheets.
  28. You need not to count words after the answers. Practice well so that you should reflexively know the appropriate limit for the answers.
  29. Leave a space and divide the lines between two questions, clarity matters alot.
  30. Just be calm and have faith in yourself.
