Senior IPS officer Ahmad Javed has been appointed as India’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia by Union Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). With this appointment the vacancy of the post of Ambassador in Indian Embassy in Riyadh since April 2015 will be filled after retirement of Hamid Ali Rao.
