Champion of Champions Pistol Award Won by Jitu Rai of ISSF (Download PDF)

The 2016 Champion of Champions pistol Award with cash prize of €5000 in the World Cup Final has been won by the Jitu Rai the Ace Indian Shooter of the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF) for pistol shooting. It  was held in Bologna, Italy. Won the award in the 10 m Air Pistol Champions Trophy finals by beating Damir Mikec of Serbia with 29.6 to 28.3 points.

10 m Air Pistol Champions Trophy

  • Mixed knock-out competition arranged between the medalists in the World Cup Final.
  • Shooters are eliminated after the first four shots, one each after every successive shot.
  • Remaining two shooters compete on a three-shot format.

Other Awards

  • Sergey Kamenskiy of Russia awarded in the rifle event category for beating two-time Olympian Du Li of China by 31.7 to 31.6 points.
  • Yi Siling of China the champion of London Olympics was ranked at third place.
