It was organized by Ministry of Tourism in partnership w⟋Federation of Associations in Indian Tourism & Hospitality (FAITH) & State⟋UT Govt.
It is coordinated by India Convention Promotion Board (ICPB) .
ITM was announced to be annual event hereafter in line w⟋other International Tourism Marts & will be held in September.
It had participation of around 225 participants North America, West Europe, East Asia, Latin America, CIS countries etc.
It will provide opportunity to buyers to see world class tourism facilities available in India like airports, tourist destinations, hotels, upcoming facilities & possibility in field of adventure tourism.
It will provide platform for all stakeholders in tourism & hospitality industries to interact & transact business opportunities.
It will provide platform for States to showcase their products to international buyers, opinion makers & bloggers & attract more tourists to their respective states.
Tourism Ministry reached ambitious goal of US $ 100 billion FTA receipts⟋year w⟋i 5 years.

It is set up to promote India as venue for International Conferences & Exhibitions.
ICPB is only travel industry body w⟋participation from entire MICE industry, w⟋members from state govt. , hotels, airlines, tour operators, travel agents, professional conference organizers, event managers, educational institutions & more.
Endeavour of ICPB is to have highly developed convention centres all over country to make India preferred destination of world.
