Great Immigrants Award of 2016 Given to Four Indian-Americans in US

Four Indian-Americans have honoured with prestigious Great Immigrants named as The Pride of America Award 2016. They are among 42 famous US personalities representing from more than 30 countries around the world.

All of these personalities denote many of personal immigration stories, and motivating professional activities.

These four Indian-Americans are:

Sunder Pichai:

  • He is CEO of Google, which is internet-based search Engine Company.
  • He was born at Madurai, Tamil Nadu of India.
  • He had also worked at Applied Materials and at McKinsey Company

Hari Sreenivasan:

  • He is broadcast journalist at PBS NewsHour Weekend of Manhattan of New York.
  • He was born at Mumbai, India in 1947.
  • He had also worked in WNCN-TV, CNET, ABC News, CBS News, etc.

Vikram Malhotra:

  • He is the chairperson of McKinsey, America.

Bharati Mukherjee:

  • He is won the award as author. She is an American writer and professor emerita in the department of English at the University of California, Berkeley.

About Great Immigrants The Pride of America Award:

  • This award is given by New York-based Carnegie Corporation on Independence Day of United States, which is on 4th July.
  • Carnegie Corporation was founded by Andrew Carnegie who was one of pioneer American capitalist.
  • He had designed the modern American industry and altruism.
