Course on Development Journalism

  • Diploma Course in Development Journalism is a prestigious course conducted by IIMC for mid-career journalists from Non-aligned & Developing Countries.
  • Course is organized under Indian Technical & Economic Cooperation & Special Commonwealth African Assistance Plan programmes of Ministry of External Affairs.
  • Duration of course is 4 months & is usually organized twice a year: from January to April & again from August to December.
  • Objective of course is to illuminate linkages b⟋w development & communication & upgrade skill set of journalists enabling them to deal w⟋challenges faced while communicating abt development & economic issues.
  • IIMC has so far I trained 1,322 participants from 127 diff. countries.
