ITI signed agreements equipment manufacturers & startups on sidelines of 1st edition of ITI՚s 2-day ‘ICT & IoT Startup Tech Expo’ in Bengaluru. Objective: To manufacture wide range of ICT-IOT based solutions.
Key Points of Agreement
- Agreements signed include:
- Civil & military advanced radar systems
- Advanced edge router systems
- Next generation 5G technology products
- Data storage & networking solutions
- Digital security solutions
- Advanced metering solutions
- Wi-Fi products & solutions
- It partnered w/Telecommunication Engineering Center (TEC) , New Delhi to establish telecom testing labs at its Bengaluru plant.
- This would help in testing of imported & indigenous telecom equipment in India.
- These are in line w/National Digital Communications Policy 2018.
Important Agreements/MoU from Expo
- Foundation stone of telecom testing labs- comprising EMI/EMC lab, Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) lab, Safety lab & Security lab - was laid by Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Communications and Minister of State for Railways.
- ITI to focus on creating Indian IPRs in communications sector.
