Gender Atlas in India

Digital Gender Atlas for Advancing Girl Education has two major components that wil work around viz. , Performance & Vulnerability. It will identify low performing pocket for girls mainly belonging to SC⟋ST⟋Minorities⟋Disabilities.

Visualization is based on Map Management Information System (MMIS) technology that enables innovative visualization of data on maps.

Components of the Digital Gender Atlas

  • Composite Gender Ranking
  • Trend Analysis of Gender Indicators
  • Vulnerabilities based on educational indicators in districts with substantial tribal, schedule caste, minority population in educationally backward blocks and in left wing extremist districts, and the low sex ratio districts seleced uner Beti Bachao Beti Padhao programme.
