India and Ukraine have agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation between two countries through medium of Cinema. Cooperation would be worked out through a policy and institutional framework.

  • Minister for Information & Broadcasting M Venkaiah Naidu and Member of Parliament of Ukraine and Chairman of National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine Mr. Iurii Artemenko have agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation.
  • Cooperation would be worked out through a policy and institutional framework to showcase films.
  • Showcasing films through festivals and utilizing Film Facilitation Office (FFO) platform established by India.
  • Ministry of Information and Broadcasting would extend all possible support to promote exchange programs between public broadcasters of two countries, content creation, screening and distribution of films.
