OCI Card

  • Faster facilitation of OCI cards for Jewish Citizens of Indian origin.
  • OCI card to be given even to those who had served in the Israeli government’s compulsory army service.
  • In general, Indian origin persons with military background are not given Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) card after a high-level committee recommendation.

Conscription in Israel

  • For all Israeli citizens over the age of 18 who are Jewish, Druze or Circassian
  • Exceptions made on religious, physical or psychological grounds
  • Length of compulsory service is two years and eight months for men and two years for women.

Air Connectivity

Launch of a new flight connecting India and Israel- Delhi or Mumbai with Tel Aviv.
