On the 64th Annual Day function of Air Force organised at Bal Bharati School, Lodhi Road in New Delhi Indian Air force launched its upgraded 3D Air Combat mobile game with a multi-player version on 8th November 2019. Indian Air Force: A cut above is a mobile application game.

A Cut Above the Rest

Overview

  • It was introduced by the Indian Air force to encourage the youth of the country to join the Indian Air Force.
  • The first version of the Indian Air Force: A cut above was launched on 31st May 2019; it is a single-player version.
  • More than 2.2 million people were downloaded globally.
  • In the single-player version, the player has to play with inbuilt Artificial Intelligence.
  • In upgraded 3D combat mobile game multiplayer version, they can compete against real people.
  • Players can choose from an array of Fighter aircraft including Tejas, Rafale mirage-2000, Su-30 and among others.
  • The game has two modes: a deathmatch and a Team battle.
  • Deathmatch - in this mode players can compete with up to 8 players in a task and it is Furious air combat free for all.
  • Team battle- two teams of four Pilots each in a tactical battle for air superiority.
  • Either shoot down all enemy aircraft or bomb the enemy՚s airbase to win.
  • Indian Air Force: A cut above is available on both the Android and IOS devices that can download from Play Store.

Features of the Game

  • It is having a carrier navigator inbuilt into the application itself.
  • It can be accessed by the places when they are offline.
  • Players can take a selfie in the background.
  • Augmented reality- users can able to view 360 degrees of the aircraft from inside and outside.
  • They can upload their achievements on Face book or Twitter.
