33rd edition of India Indonesia Coordinated Petrol was commenced at Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands to be held from 19 Mar to 04 Apr 2019 aiming to underscore India’s peaceful presence and unanimity w/friendly Maritime neighbor countries to ensure good order in the maritime domain, consolidate interoperability & strengthen existing bonds of friendship between India & Indonesia.

Opening Ceremony:

  • Indonesian Naval Ship KRI Sultan Thaha Syaifuddin & Maritime Patrol Aircraft CN-235 led by Cmde Dafit Santoso arrived at Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, India for the Opening Ceremony

  • Ambassador of Indonesia to India – visited Port Blair to attend the opening ceremony to be held from 20 - 21 Mar 2019

  • Indian delegation includes - Senior officer from the Indian Navy, VSM Naval Component Commander & Andaman and Nicobar Command

Patrolling Programme:

  • Conducted in 3 phases from 22 - 31 Mar 2019

  • Ship & aircraft from both countries undertake patrolling on the respective sides of 236 nautical miles long International Maritime Boundary line

Closing Ceremony

At Belawan, Indonesia from 01 - 04 April 2019

In Port Blair harbor, official calls, formal reception onboard ship, sporting fixtures between both navies, ship open to visitors & professional interactions activities are planned
