In order to handle territorial disputes and protect its sea rights Supreme Court of china has announced to set up its own International Maritime Judicial Centre (IMJC) . In this regard Chief Justice Zhou Qiang of China՚s Supreme Court has make announcement at the annual meeting of the national legislature National People՚s Congress (NPC) .

With this implementation china will become stronger to claims in the disputed South and East China seas and also help it become a maritime power.
