Madhya Pradesh Government Launches Deendayal Antyodaya Rasoi Yojana

The Madhya Pradesh government is all set to launch Deendayal Antyodaya Rasoi. a populist subsidised meal scheme for poor in the state. The first phase of the scheme was launched by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in 49 districts headquarters across the state.

Highlights

  • This scheme, named after the BJP ideologue Deendayal Upadhyaya.
  • The meal would include four rotis, one sabzi, and dal.
  • The Thali would be made available from 11 am to 3 pm
  • These centres will have arrangement to cater at least 2000 persons every day.
  • More centres will be opened in the big cities depending upon the need.
  • They will provide cheap, good quality, nutritious and delicious food.
  • The funds for setting up these centres will be made available under CM՚s Urban Infrastructure Scheme. PTI ADU MAS DK

  • Free water, power by municipal bodies.
  • An account would be opened for every centre at a nationalized bank of the local headquarters.
  • Ann dhaan is the biggest dhaan.
  • It is a mahayagya we have started for the people of the state.
  • Wheat and rice would also be made available at the canteens at Rc one each through fair price shope.
  • Local municipal bodies will make the water and electricity available free-of-cost, minister informed.
  • District Level Coordination and Monitoring Committee would monitor this arrangement.
