Mihai Tudose has been appointed as President of Romania by the current PM of Romania Klaus Iohannis. Mihai Tudose was previously served as economy minister as Prime Minister. The reason behind his appointment is, political crisis that risked damaging the country’s record economic recovery.

  • Sorin Mihai Grindeanu is a former Prime Minister of Romania who has served from January to June 2017 and because of motion of no confidence adopted by Parliament he was removed from the post of PM.
  • Grindeanu was had served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies from 2012 until the June 2016 local election.
  • He also has served as Minister for Communications under the fourth cabinet of Victor Ponta from 17 December 2014 and 17 November 2015.
