  • It is the 2nd planet from distance of the Sun
  • It has been named after the goodness of love and beauty Venus who is a Roman
  • It serves a terrestrial plant and referred as Earth’s Sisters planet because of because of their similar size, mass, proximity to Sun, and bulk composition. It has no natural satellite.
  • Though it is radically different from Earth with regard to other factors
  • Though Venus has been the hottest planet in the solar system with a mean surface temperature 462 °C even though Mercury is closer to the Sun.
