Paul Davis Ryan was born on January 29, 1970. He is the 54th and existing Speaker of the U. S. House of Representatives. Ryan is a member of the Republican Party who has served as the U. S. Representative for Wisconsin’s 1st congressional district since 1999.

  • He is the first person from Wisconsin to grasp this position.
  • Ryan follows the Vice President in line to the presidency of the United States in accordance with the Presidential Succession Act.
