Skoch Lifetime Achievement Award Will Be Honored to Venkaiah Naidu [ ]


M Venkaiah Naidu a Union urban Development, Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation and Parliamentary Affairs Minister been conferred with the Skoch Lifetime Achievement Award. At 43rd SKOCH summit held in New Delhi for his contributions to inclusive growth and towards poverty alleviation in India he will honored with award.

Skoch Challenger Award Winner

  • KT Rama Rao an Information Technology (IT) Minister of Telangana State was also awarded the Skoch Award in the Startup India category.
  • For his initiative in establishing the path breaking tech incubator T-Hub he was conferred with this honour.

About Skoch Challenger Awards:

  • It was founded in 2003.
  • These are the highest individualistically instituted civilian honours.
  • It is honored to person for some of the best brains from across India for their efforts in the area of digital, social and financial inclusion.

About Venkaiah Naidu:

  • Muppavarapu Venkaiah Naidu was born on 1st July 1949 at Chavatapalem, Andhra Pradesh.
  • He has worked as the Union Minister of Urban Development, Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation and Parliamentary Affairs in the Narendra Modi government.
  • He is a prominent leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party and served as its national president from 2002 to 2004.
  • He was the Union Cabinet Minister for Rural Development in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government previously.
