Startup India Virtual Hub has been launched by Nirmala Sitharaman the Commerce & Industry Minister will be the online platform for all Indian stakeholders of the entrepreneurial ecosystem which will discover, connect and engage all them with each other.

About Startup India Virtual Hub

  • Startup India Virtual Hub will be marketplace for stakeholders to interact, exchange knowledge, and helps to grow each other.
  • It will modernize existing lifecycle of startups and helps to access the right resources at the right time.
  • Along with this, new initiative was also announced under which a Startup exchange program will organise amongst the SAARC nations.
  • The portal will also host startups, investors, funds, mentors, academia, incubators, accelerators, corporate, Government bodies and many more.
  • The Hub will try to solve the problem of asymmetry information and lack of access to knowledge, tools, &experts, especially in the growing ecosystems across Tier II and III towns.
  • The Virtual Hub will serve a dynamic & interactive platform for startups which will provides learning & development, networking, mentorship, funding, etc.
  • The main aim behind development of this hub is to collect different offerings of the ecosystem and enable discovery by the right audience.
  • Startup India Hub has collaborated with different organizations to on-board entrepreneurs & investors, and builds knowledge modules.
  • The Apps will also develop for both Os Android and iOS to ensure accessibility across various platforms.
  • India has become 3rd third largest startups ecosystem across the world with 3 - 4 startups inauguration each day.
  • The Hub will be the nodal platform for users to connect with ecosystem stakeholders, access free learning resources, tools & templates on legal, HR, accounting & regulatory issues and discussion forums.
  • At the initial phase the Hub will have approximately 50 relevant Govt schemes/programs and in the next phase, the platform will also includes various schemes of state governments.
