Ensuring Worker Welfare for a New India

  • Minimum wages boosted by 42 % in both agri and non-agri sectors

  • For bonus coverage:

  • Calculation ceiling limit doubled to Rs. 7, 000

  • Eligibility limit increased from Rs. 10, 000 to Rs. 21, 000

  • Directly benefits an additional 55 lakh workers

  • Universal Account Number ensures seamless EPF portability for crores of workers

  • Enablement of employers to pay wages to their employees through banks:

  • Increases compliance of payment of minimum wages

  • Ensures health benefits under ESIC reach workers

  • Ensures workers’ social security through Provident Fund

  • Apprentice Protsahan Yojana enables and encourages apprentices

  • Enhanced air connectivity with 70 more airports gives unprecedented convenience to common man

  • Proportionate pricing for routes of difference stage length and flight duration
