Union Ministry of Railways constitutes Kaya Kulp council [ Current News (Concise) ]
Kaya kulp’ Council was constituted by Union Minister of Railways Suresh Prabhu in order to fulfill the promise made in the Railway Budget Speech. Kaya kulp’ Council is an innovation council for Indian Railways which seeks to re-engineer business and introduces a spirit of innovation in Indian Railways.
Head of Kaya kulp’ Council will appoint eminent industrialist and former chairman of Tata Sons, Ratan Tata and the council will act as a standing body and will interact with all stakeholders and other interested parties. The main purpose of open this council, to recommend innovative methods and processes for the improvement, betterment and transformation of the Indian Railways.
The Council initially will have appointed as following members by Union Minister of Railways Suresh Prabhu-
- Shiv Gopal Mishra- he appointed as General Secretary of All Indian Railwaymen’s Federation (AIRF).
- M. Raghavaia- he appointed as General Secretary of National Federation of Indian Railwaymen (NFIR).
