Vikas Krishan Yadav was born on 10th February 1992 in Singhwa Khas village in Hisar district. He is an Indian male boxer from Bhiwani district in Haryana. He joined the Bhiwani Boxing Club in 2003. Later, he received training in the Army Sports Institute at Pune.

Winner of silver medal in 75 kg category in Asia Championships

  • Currently he is an employee of the Haryana State Electricity Board.

His achievements:

  • Vikas Krishan won gold medal in the 2010 Asian Youth Boxing Championships at Teheran.
  • He also won a gold medal in the 2010 Youth World Amateur Boxing Championships at Baku in the Lightweight category.
  • He won a bronze medal in the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics at Singapore in Lightweight categoryin august 2010.
  • He won gold medal by defeating Hu Qing of China by 5 - 4 in the finals of the 2010 Asian Games Lightweight category.
