World’s first 3D-printed jet engine developed in Australia. 3D-printed jet engine could develop the innovative additive manufacturing technique and with the help of this technique the device will be cheaper, lighter and more fuel-efficient aircraft. The world first of kind 3D printed engine was developed by Researchers from Monash University with the help of Amaero Engineering company.
- 3D-printed jet engine works on two ways.
- Firstly, the scanned computer models of engines and after that the 3D printing machine integrated with high-powered laser fused the nickel, titanium or aluminum into the shape of engine machine.
