9th ASEAN-India Summit 2014 (East Asia Summit) Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar
On 13 November 2014, 9th East Asia Summit was held in Nay Pyi Taw, Myanmar. This summit was handled by his Excellency U Thein Sein.
Head of State and Government of ASEAN member states, Australia, Republic of China, Republic of India, Japan, New Zealand and Us all are attended republic of the union of Mayanmmar.
This summit adopted four outcome documents
- EAS Declaration on Combating wildlife Trafficking
- EAS statement guidelines for Rapid Disaster Response
- Response to the outbreak of Ebola.
- “Rise of violence” is statement of EAS.
It's leader of the forum discussed about cooperation in area, non-traditional security issues such as wildlife trafficking, climate change and disaster management. Some issues occur international level leaders exchanged views on Korean Peninsula and rise of violence committed by Islamic state of Iraq.
In Finance the growth of Asia's inter-regional trade and financial integration, importance of cooperation in finance. EAS Finance Ministers meeting and looked to considering the outcomes of 2015 EAS meeting next summit of its finance manager.
