IAS 2013 final result declared with highest number of intake [ IAS Updates ]
IAS 2013 result has been declared this year with highest number of of student intake totalling to 1122 successful candidates. After 4 years, a male Gaurav Aggarwal has become the topper for the prestigious civil services exam from Jaipur. Of the total candidates
517 candidates have cleared the examination in the general category, 326 belong to Other Backward Classes, 187 Scheduled Caste and 92 to Scheduled Tribe categories. Around
180 candidates have made it to the highly-coveted IAS, 32 to Indian Foreign Services and 150 to Indian Police Service.
Besides the candidates who have been declared, 210 candidates are kept on the reserve list.
Gaurav Aggarwal is a BTech from IIT Kanpur and PGDM from IIM Lucknow. He cleared the exam in 2nd attempt.
2nd ranker is
Munish Sharma who is a Bachelor of Science (Biochemistry) degree from Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University. He got through the exam in second attempt.
Female topper is Bharti Dixit, who has secured fifth rank. She has done Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Delhi. This was her first attempt.
