UPSC IPS Exam 2022: Registration Has Been Started
Notification for Indian Police Services Exam has been released by Union Public Service Commission in February 2022. IPS is one of the three All India Services of the Government of India. The IPS was formed in the year 1948. The cadre controlling authority for the IPS is the Ministry of Home Affairs.
IPS service is divided into various functional departments such as Crime Branch, Criminal Investigation Department (CID) , Home Guards, Traffic Bureau.

The candidates can download an e-Admit Card before three weeks of the examination from official website of UPSC. Note that No Admit Card will be sent by post.

Application Fees
Online mode: Credit card⟋ debit card payments or internet banking facilities etc.
Offline mode: Pay the requisite fee at any of the government recognized SBI branches and receive the challan .
Those applicants who belong to SC⟋ST categories, physically handicapped applicants and females need not to pay fee.

Exam Pattern
The IPS exam for UPSC Civil Services Exam is divided in three stages: Prelims, Mains and Personal Interview.
Candidates who are able to clear Prelims are eligible for mains and who are able to clear Mains are eligible for Personal Interview.

Candidates have to write essays on multiple topics like previous year exams according to their ideas in an orderly fashion and write concisely.
